Megan Reinking
Megan’s experience with yoga has been a journey of finding greater peace and self-acceptance, of healing the body, mind, and heart. Her goal is to create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment to play, explore, and grow as a practitioner and a human being; focusing on alignment, injury prevention, health, and dynamic playlists. She is a deep believer in our connection to music and its ability to support and drive the practice energetically. She cultivates an energy of non-judgment, emphasizing connecting to the body to give it what it needs on a daily basis, which is constantly evolving. Megan has a long background in theatre as well, making her a strong and effective communicator, able to guide all levels of experience simultaneously.
Megan first certified in 2016 in Los Angeles, with Jennifer Smith and Dana Kraft, in a program heavily focused on adjustments and anatomy, focusing on Vinyasa with a strong foundation in Ashtanga. In 2019, Megan also certified in Accessible Yoga at the Integral Yoga Institute in NYC, with Jivana Heyman, learning to create yoga classes where all students can practice together regardless of age, size, ability, or experience level. Recently, Megan also certified in Yoga Nidra Meditation.
